iSDC & RONUA Community Workshop

Yesterday I spoke at the iSDC and Ronua Community Workshop. We had a great day and it was a pleasure meeting the people at iSDC, meeting the developers in Cluj and surroundings (some drove over 200km to make it to the meeting) and Petru Jucovschi (the DPE for Microsoft Romania).

First of all I want to congratulate you for the presentations (and as being one that have driven in, it was worth it). I hope you enjoyed your visit to Romania, and were actually able to find souvenirs to bring back home :)

This is slightly off-topic now, but I've seen your blog entry regarding the December SDN event in the Netherlands, and I wanted to ask you if the presentations are going to be done in Dutch or in English?

The thing is I'm going to be moving to the Netherlands shortly and I would like to attend, but of course the problem is I don't speak Dutch.

Judging by the titles in the sessions' chart it's probably going to be dutch, but I'm still hoping for positive news :)

It varies from meeting to meeting. This time there are no foreign speakers so all sessions will be in Dutch. Quite often we will have one or two foreign speakers (about 4 sessions) so keep an eye on future meetings :-)

I had a great time in Romania and did find some good souvenirs. I ended up going to the new mall. It was very very busy so I went in, found some souvenirs and left quickly :-)
